"THE SHARPEST BLADE" is the last full-length studio album from VIRO THE VIRUS. With an eager focus on producing "hits" that would appeal to a wider audience and get some radio play, VIRO & Caliph-NOW wrote songs and collected production that had a more relatable sound to what was playing at the time. But don't let that fool you. VIRO's lyrics were more sharp and piercing than ever before. Sharing the bulk of production on the album were Caliph-NOW, Happ G, and S.T.W.B. (Stress The White Boy). Also contributing to the production credits were Eyego/Direct, slim DSM, and Decypher. VIRO's excitement and enthusiasm with the results of this album definitely showed in some of VIRO's most impressive live shows and press that accumulated from the buzz of "THE SHARPEST BLADE." No one would disagree that VIRO THE VIRUS is and will always be "THE SHARPEST BLADE."

I have been listening to variations of this album a long time. I remember I was living in a cardboard dumpster when some young guy was like yo dude it's gonna rain come crash on my couch. He played The Many Faces of Oliver Hart for me. I fell in love, I set my favorite track as Rain because we looped it when the rain came. That was one of the early acts of kindness I received in the nearly 20 years I've been homeless. @NomadRoamsFree
